Kihzon: The first Dwarf Kingdom.
Just as humans arose from subspecies smaller than giants, dwarves descend from beings smaller than the subspecies that generated humans. However, due to their size and lack of adaptation to the same environments as humans, they came together and headed towards the southern mountains, a region that contained water, good soil and natural riches. Due to the need for better protections to defend themselves in the hostile nature, they began to explore the caves of the great mountain.
The dwarves developed a kingdom inside the mountain, a strategic location that only dwarves could enter. With the discovery of precious metals, there was a need to create an external kingdom, so that they could trade with neighboring cities without entering the mountain. This race is very proud and likes to prove to others that they are strong warriors, this happens because dwarves believe that others talk behind their backs, they create situations in their own heads, a type of inferiority complex.
Some humans and elves actually think this of them, but the minority. This complex ended up making them aggressive in the way they speak and act. Due to their rapid development, they grew in numbers and chose to expand into the neighboring mountains, exploring caves and settling small colonies of dwarves. Those mountains that had a high degree of wealth and were worth it, the kingdom they called Kihzon, in the south, sent supplies and more dwarves to explore the region.
After a few years, they arrived in the north of the continent, they found a mountain range, whose soil was rich in precious minerals for the dwarves, this place had great potential to become the second kingdom of the dwarves. With these materials from the region, there was no need for support from Kihzon, as they created the first forges and, with that, achieved autonomy.
The dwarves, at the time of expansion, chose not to pass through the center of the continent, as several exploring dwarves died in the mountains near the current “No Man's Land”. It was a risk that, at the time, was not worth it. This fact prevented the dwarves from discovering what would be considered the continent's greatest wealth, the shiny ore they called Kersephite Runes.
After a few centuries, the kingdoms of Belatria and Kihzon were already consolidated. The dwarves believed they were safe beneath the mountains and within their fortresses, so they did not bother to seek improvements for their weapons and armor. During the return of some dwarves from the Valley of Peace to Kihzon, a human from Saint Bjino met the dwarves and asked for refuge, as he was in danger of death and explained that he was being chased by elves.
The dwarves didn't have many problems with the elves, however, due to their temperament and aggressiveness in words, there was a certain impasse between dwarves and elves, they didn't hate each other to the point of being enemies, but they didn't like each other either. The dwarves took him to the outer kingdom of Kihzon and explained the story to the Dwarven King, Argo. The human explained that the glowing rocks could be cut in such a way that they reached their maximum efficiency, allowing them to channel their own energy. He explained that Saint Bjino suspected that the elves were hiding some war technology, which explained the interest in the mineral, something that was unusual for the elves, after all, the ore is used to make weapons.
Argo, after consulting the advisors, came to the conclusion that they were exposed, and that they needed to obtain this mineral so that they would have the same military power as other kingdoms, since they did not know how powerful they could be in a few years with this discovery.
Because they felt behind, they also began to feel threatened, and thus began to create theories that the kingdoms were conspiring against them, that no one was willing to warn them because they were targeting their riches, they could be an alliance against them. The human tried to warn that there was no plot and that no one knew what the elves were doing. But the dwarves accused him, saying they only spoke because the human needed refuge.
Thus, they decided to imprison the human, so that he would not spread the news of the dwarves' fury, and they also sent messengers to Belatria, to warn what had happened. After many days, the kingdom of Belatria confirmed that something had to be done, war, and then, explore the “No Man’s Land”. Thus, many warriors left Kihzon to join Belatria's troops, to finally begin the plan to dominate the territory. The strategy was to destroy the kingdoms on the outskirts of No Man's Land, to later invade Earth, collect the mineral, force the prisoner to teach them how to use it, create weapons and armor to, finally, destroy Valyria and Saint Bjino.
Before this happens, the dwarves of Kihzon should check whether orc tribes spread across the east had rocks, and whether their territory was valuable in any way, so they attacked the region and made the Orcs retreat to the far east, where they They based their resistance, after the dwarves explored the region and saw that they had nothing, they left there and started the plan.
The first city to be destroyed was Beou, territory of the Orcs. The second city to be destroyed was Proteus, the city of Saint Bjino I's nephew. And the third was the city of Juno, an elven city. And so, preparations began to destroy the city of giants, just on a whim, to show that the dwarves were superior to all races. Along the way, passing through No Man's Land, the dwarves encountered an army that was coming against them, it was the alliance of all races.
After the battle in No Man's Land, the dwarves lost great warriors, and so the dwarves of Belatria and Kihzon separated. Humans had great military and technological power for the time, they were able to defend themselves and their allies from the dwarves' counterattacks. The dwarves of Belatria were trapped in the mountainous region itself, preventing them from returning to the kingdom. Bjino formed a colony in this territory. Some dwarves were enslaved in order to pay off debts for the destroyed territories.
After the great war, the dwarves of the north became more humble, some of those who managed to pay for their freedom remained in the city they were in or chose to go to nearby cities to start a new life.
