VILA VELHA (OLD VILLAGE)

A city built by ancient traders looking to start anew. The region has a high number of foreigners who came from Palovan in search of the first missions.

A long time ago, when the entity had appeared in the regions of the Western peninsula, some people who were warned about betrayals and the Great War chose to abandon their small tribes in search of a region with better resources to prepare for the worst.

The region they found near the Northern mountains and the passage to the south was rich in ore that could be smelted with metals, improving the quality of equipment.

Initially, these people built shanties in a disorganized and unplanned manner, causing future problems with floods. Nevertheless, the region thrived by exploring the mountains and vegetation with its rich soil.

The city began trading with the Belatria region when the dwarves still inhabited the area, and also with Obisan and a village of orcs south of Belatria, whose interest was in food.

After the arrival of foreigners from the Gidrail desert, some city merchants began to host foreigners to profit from cheap labor, and so it was done. A ship was sent to the island of Palovan, whose kingdom was still being built and growing exponentially, with the intention of convincing them to send the youth to Vila Velha (Old Village).

Palovan recognized that much could be learned in Vila Velha, and therefore, chose to send foreigners and young adults to this city so that they could obtain some title and respect before moving to another city.

Vila Velha became protected against nightly invasions of creatures from the fog passage by the youth who came from Palovan.

Some travelers were sent to the Gidrail desert to evolve quickly, while others were sent on expeditions in search of creatures that inhabited the vicinity of trade routes, attacking travelers and disrupting trade. Not everyone accepted this order, and so they chose to follow their own path.
